🍺 A Family That Brews Together

Every good beer has a story — and ours starts on Sydney’s Northern Beaches back in 2011.

What began as a passion project between a father and son quickly grew into a full-blown family affair. Dad (John) and Dave are both qualified brewers with decades of experience in hospitality, a shared love for good beer, and a simple goal: make craft beer that’s approachable, sessionable, and downright delicious.

The name says it all — Dad & Daves — but the story doesn’t stop there. Behind the scenes, the whole family’s in on it: Mum, Jess, Scott, and James all play their part in keeping the beers flowing, the tap room buzzing, and the good times rolling.

We keep things simple and honest — using the traditional four ingredients of malt, hops, water, and yeast — then add our own creative twist to keep things fresh. It’s a mix of old-school brewing values and new-school innovation, brewed right here in Brookvale.

At the end of the day, our motto sums it up best:
We make beer. Delicious beer.
